JUNE 15, 2011 - WOW, 3 MORE WINS AT MSR CRESSON!!!
Danny Kelsey continues to improve his riding this season and picked up 3 more wins as the 2011 season continues to take shape for the Georgetown, Texas rider. Running a personal best time of 1:14.7, Kelsey continues to make great strides this season as Danny battled for 8 solid laps with his local hero Ty Howard in the A superbike race. Kelsey came up 0.7 seconds short of beating the KTM RC-8 mounted Howard, but demonstrated he is ready to run with the "big dogs" on his M&M roadracing Honda CBR1000.
The big jump coincided with the return of Marcus McBain trackside to assist Kelsey. McBain re-valved the Honda CBR1000 Penske shock to give him the "extra umphh" and drop his lap times. In conjunction with the new Michelin slicks now available, the results were evident.
The team also decided to bring back the RPS GSXR-750 to the track to help Kelsey secure points forthe 2011 Championship. The result was one win and a second place in the bikes first outing of the season. The team will continue to field the motorcycle to help battle "head to head" with CMRA championship contenders Carlos Lescale and Brandon Cleland.
Kelsey, McBain, and Mitch McGinnis will continue to work together to make 2011 a championship year.
